• Create and develop locally based films
• Showcase the films within the local area and via media to a wider audience
• Interview and record local residents to sustain local oral history and preserve and document local heritage, whilst simultaneously building local heritage through its work
• Promote the work and achievements of the area to a wider audience
• To establish local resources to carry out the above work
• To share resources with other local community groups
• To offer media workshops
• To improve the knowledge of pathways and opportunities into the media industry for young people
• To highlight any emerging issues within Fife

The Project is assisted by volunteers who:

• Assist with fund-raising
• Develop the skills of a ‘film crew’

Equipment purchased is regarded as a community asset and is maintained and safeguarded by key volunteers under the auspices of the Auchtermuchty Community Trust and the Auchtermuchty Theatre Group.
